“Cora’s Heart & The Bluebirds Of Happiness is fourth in the series of the “Wild Hares” and a one of a kind hand- sculpted bunny. 
Cora is filled with joy and shares her heart with the bluebirds that surround her. It looks as if she is sitting in a field of flowers calling to them. She would be darling sitting atop a stack of books or on a shelf. ❤️
Her armature has been created with wire, tape, paper and foil. She is then hand-sculpted with several layers of air dry clay, allowing each layer to dry before adding to the next. Each piece of grass, flower and ladybug have been added by hand. Once the clay has hardened, she is sanded where appropriate, primed, and hand painted with several layers of highly pigmented acrylic paint, then finished with a high gloss polyurethane to seal and protect.
Cora is a sitting sculpture and is approximately 11.5”Tall, is 12.5” Wide from her ear to extended foot and 7”Deep. She has been signed by Leslie on her bum.
